They've attacked us spiritually and physically, they've maimed us ~Catholic priests Cries out

They kidnap and kill us 

They bomb our churches 

They maim our worshippers in broad day light 

They attack us spiritually and physically 

They go ahead to hire miscreants and touts to mimick us

They attack us using media propaganda 

We have no wives nor children and no inheritance to claim

So who will rise to our defense? 

No one to protest on our behalf?

Aren’t we Nigerians anymore? 

Even the politicians in our parishes are silent 

The lawyers and SAN in our parishes see nothing wrong 

The Christians/Catholics in government are quiet because of stomach infrastructure 

The youths in our parishes are no better; they keep on defending the indefensible. 

What will become of the Catholic Church when the over 5000 of us are exterminated? 

But they said religion didn’t matter, so why that show of shame? They could have also said that ethnicity and region doesn’t matter. In Nigeria 🇳🇬 you can’t separate ethnic and religious sentiments from politics. That’s a fact. 

Up till now no one can explain how the sharia made its way into the Constitution of a secular state and attempts to take it out from there has been fruitless since then. 

And you say religion didn’t matter? 

It was Senator Abaribe who once said “Those who live by propaganda will die by propaganda.” 

May the souls of the maimed, slained and murdered priests find rest in the Lord. Their blood upon those who killed them, their sponsors, their supporters and sympathizers. Amen 🙏
