The Nigerian Armed Forces is Africa's 4th most powerful and the world's 35th most powerful military

The Nigerian🇳🇬 Armed Forces is Africa's 4th most powerful and the world's 35th most powerful military with 215,000 personnel with a military expenditure of $5.87 billion.

The Nigerian Navy is one of Africa's largest Navy with 133 vessels. The Nigerian Air Force has 140 aircrafts. The Nigerian Army has 2,019 armoured vehicles including 376 tanks, 349 towed artilleries, 47 rocket projectors and 44 self-propelled artilleries.

Even though 'The Gaint Of Africa' has security problems at home; they helped end civil wars in countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone. Nigeria also helped in restoring democracy in Gambia, Togo, Guinea-bissau and Sao Tome And Principe.

Liberia's President George Weah awarded several Nigerian Army Senior Officers national honours for their outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Liberian Armed Forces in February 2022.
